Don’t Throw Away Your Selvages!

You paid for all that fabric. You deserve to enjoy every bit of it. Selvages are often an unexpected slice of beauty the fabric designer thought about. This bag was a gift from a friend and uses all Frond Fabric selvages. Frond designs are unique because they use so many stunningly pigmented colors (sometimes up to 20!) pulled from Stephanie Brandenburg’s art easel. You can create new fabric with just the selvage or include an inch or so of the fabric line in a selvage project. I also love this bag because it’s lined with waterproof raincoat fabric.
